About Me

My name is Patrick Cassat, and I am a sports broadcaster with a passion for play by play and storytelling. I currently work as a Social Media and Promotions Producer for Delmarva Sports Network, where I oversee the network's social media presence while contributing to live broadcasts as a play by play broadcaster and sideline reporter. My broadcasting assignments include NCAA Division I college basketball, Minor League Baseball, high school football and basketball, and a variety of other sporting events across the Delmarva Peninsula.

My broadcasting experience includes football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, and more at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. Prior to joining Delmarva Sports Network, I called NCAA Division I athletics for platforms including SEC Network+, in addition to college baseball and softball broadcasts with Georgia Gwinnett College's nationally ranked programs.

I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2024, where I earned a Sports Media Certificate through the Carmical Sports Media Institute. While at Georgia, I covered live sporting events on social media and wrote game stories while expanding my role with Picks & Pancakes, a Distance Media publication, where I provided beat coverage of Georgia soccer and created digital sports content.

In addition to broadcasting, I have experience in social media management, digital content creation, hosting, sideline reporting, interviewing, feature storytelling, and media relations. I also interned with Little League Baseball and Softball, producing social media content and assisting with media relations during the Senior League Softball World Series.

Whether behind the microphone, on camera, or creating digital content, my goal is to tell compelling stories and connect fans with the games they love.
